are you writing things specifically to wind me up? how about damned for damned fans? my fave of the first wave of uk punk bands, best albums are black album and machine gun etiquette. you're right though, a criminally underrated band

The Damned are a staple of old Punk for sure. Rat Scabies was actually a really good drummer.

if you are going to check out the black album make sure you get the reissue of the double album with the blistering live set from 1980 and all the singles, the album is a good mix of their more experimental side and good old fashioned punk
