Western Addiction - Cognicide (For fans of Minor Threat, Paint It Black, New Mexican Disaster Squad)

2003, four dudes working at Fat Wreck Chords in San Francisco take a look around the music community there and see an over abundance of pop-punk and emo, and very little hardcore punk. Deciding to do something about that, Western Addiction was formed.

Playing no bullshit hardcore punk in the veins of Paint It Black and New Mexican Disaster Squad, "Cognicide" is a complete punk rock assault with shit tons of 80's hardcore thrown in for good measure. Pissed and political, "Cognicide" keeps with tradition and finishes in just 22 minutes.

A must for any hardcore fan.
